Re: Dolby Vision now possible through MP4 Mux.
You will love it :) Yes, CPM build is a must for the true tv-led option: ''source metadata''. DS workflow 3-2 will be identical to CPM HDR10+ conversion as long as you use the histogram plus. ps check your pm, I've sent you a link to my GD RPU collection. all you need to do is inject with workflow ...

Re: Dolby Vision now possible through MP4 Mux.
@RESET_9999 Finally took your advice and got the AM6b+ . What a relief ;) A question though: On my ancient TV, LG E6, is it worth it to run CPM builds of CoreElec, and if so: Will the built in VS10 on-the-fly VS10 HDR10(+) to DV conversion, or the 3-2 processing from Dovi Scripts give me the best re...

Re: Dolby Vision now possible through MP4 Mux.
Well, I have an ancient TV (LG E6), so TV-LED is not for me yet.RESET_9999 wrote: ↑Wed Mar 19, 2025 2:23 pmIt doesnt matter because the GTV FEL playback is out of sync anyway and it does fake tv-led.
The x700 alters the metadata(not true TV-LED) and ignores any positive lift so get the ugoos if you want the best bug-free DV quality.

Re: Dolby Vision now possible through MP4 Mux.
So, google decided to finally update the CCwGTV to Android 14. However, other than it being a totally botched update, it seems FEL support might be permanently gone, "thanks to" an upgrade to kernel 5.15. I can live with that, as I have a X700 as well, however I wonder if anyone can confir...

Re: Dolby Vision now possible through MP4 Mux.
@RESET_9999: Do you by any chance have plans to get a Google TV Streamer to check out how it handles DV?

Re: Dolby Vision now possible through MP4 Mux.
Another issue with 3-2 for me, this time on a HDR10 file. Happens when madvr measurement is supposed to take place: https://imgur.com/a/7wkivLx I redownloaded the tools folder, tried the latest beta, and also older versions to no avail. Any suggestions to what i have messed up this time? :D *edit*: ...

Re: Dolby Vision now possible through MP4 Mux.
@RESET_9999: When using 3-2 on a HDR10 file, since 2.0.5/2.0.6 beta i get this error after it is done extracting tracks: Progress: 100% Connecting LAV Video Decoder to madVR failed. Reading generate config file... Parsing madVR measurement file... Error: The system cannot find the file specified. (o...

Re: Dolby Vision now possible through MP4 Mux.
@ aboulfad not related to CW but could you test this file please on your E7 internal player and oppo? https://drive.google.com/file/d/1GQ6CHY4EraX6uB-Ea78wFR--QkZhg2e9/view?usp=sharing i did a new FEL test file which makes it more obvious when FEL is decoded. Works well on my x700. https://i.ibb.co...

Re: Dolby Vision now possible through MP4 Mux.
You need to demux the video first, and then run the script on the HEVC file. example: python hdr10plus_remove.py -i video.hevc -o processed_file.hevc Thanks for that. Is there an idiots guide on HDR10+ to DV conversion? I wrote up how this idiot does it here: https://www.avsforum.com/threads/author...

Re: Dolby Vision now possible through MP4 Mux.
I've been having more adventures with re-ripping for my X800M2. To cut a very long story short, it turns out that the current nightly builds of tsMuxer are producing corrupted output so I thought I should post a warning about that here. Apparently the last working version is the 23 January nightly ...

Re: Dolby Vision now possible through MP4 Mux.
Let me get something straight: Can the X700 properly play FEL DV in .ts or .m2ts format made by tsmuxer using the bl & el hevc files made by yousopee's beta tool? Yes, most of them play fine but for an unknown reason, some don't work. Amazing, thanks for clarifying. One more question: Any advan...

Let me get something straight: Can the X700 properly play FEL DV in .ts or .m2ts format made by tsmuxer using the bl & el hevc files made by yousopee's beta tool? I've been doing bluray folder structure from tsmuxer and renaming to AVCHD folder every damn time, so .ts/.m2ts would be much smoothe...
