Re: to the 3D-addicts: how do you playback your 3D-backups? Device, software?
Regarding your additional question: If you want to play them back like a BluRay, with the menus and everything, you need to create a backup of the disc. Don't rip the individual MKV files. This backup will be in an .iso-Format for DVDs, or in a Directory for BluRay disks, and can be opened using VLC...

Re: I wrote a bash script for automated, parallelized ripping
I've noticed similar issues myself, which I assumed were caused by either the disk being unreadable or the device becoming unavailable. Unfortunately, I'm too low on free time at the moment to look into this in much more detail. What drives are you using and did it happen with any specific discs all...

Re: I wrote a bash script for automated, parallelized ripping
Hey there! The wrapper is copying the license from the scripts settings file into MakeMKVs settings file. I wrote a bash script for automated, parallelized ripping
Hey there, I hope it's okay if I'm "promoting" my work here. After destroying my last movie storage server and now being confronted by the fact that I'll have to rip a couple hundred BluRays again, I wrote a bash script automation for it. All you have to do after starting the script is thr...

Full automation of MakeMKV
Hey there, I'm looking to fully automate MakeMKV and basically build a dedicated ripping station: You put in a disc, folders get created (main folder named after the Series, subfolders for every disc) and after the ripping process the disc gets ejected. I've found this rather old thread: https://www...

Re: Automation
Hey there, I know, old topic, anyways. Whenever I'm running this script, at the point where I'm supposed to insert the disc, as soon as I've done that, the program just closes. Literally nothing happens. I suppose that's because this script is from 2015 and many MakeMKV versions aswell as Windows Up...
