I disabled my external video lav and applied the internal video LAV with the EXACT same settings and then BAM!!! I got HW support on the UHD rips! and no drops on blade runner!!!!

Just picked up an Asus BC-12D2HT but even with Firmware 3.01 I'm still getting "No disc inserted" unfortunately. Will give a firmware flash a go tomorrow and cross my fingers.

What player are you guys using? I was hoping to use PowerDVD as I have the '14 license but would pay for '18 if it worked better (I'm after Dolby Atmos and I don't know that other players offer bitstreaming options?).

Hmm well an LG WH16NS60 is going to set me back about $250aud from Amazon with the runaround of getting it shipped here (as Amazon won't directly ship anymore) whereas I could get an ASUS BW-16D1HT-PRO for $119 locally...
