Quick update to this. Indeed installing 1.14.1 remedied the slowness issue, so all is great now!
On that note, I just installed 1.14.2 a few moments ago...hopefully everything remains speedy!

I'm running MakeMKV version 14. Maybe version 14.1 is faster? I'll try that next!

Its very slow for me as well. Disks that took ~ 20 minutes now take ~ 8 hours. The slow part seems to be disk read (Blu-Ray), from disks back from 2010, to recent releases. Using Win7x64, no other programs/services running. Same machine/usage as was when running previous versions of MakeMKV. I will ...
