Probably irrelevant here, but 600 seconds is equal to 10 minutes, not five...my normal 600sec (5min) value

Re: Firewall disc - Scsi error - MEDIUM ERROR:L-EC UNCORRECT
Glad to hear that simply swapping for replacement discs solved the problem.
Unfortunately, over the last year or so, this type of problem is becoming more and more prevalent. Hopefully, better QC will be performed throughout the industry...

Hi!
Your source material (D/L from the 'Net) is not acceptable for discussion at this forum (and many other forums as well).
Discussion based on such source material, as well as rental discs puts the forum at risk of being shutdown.

@Rych_22 Just to make sure, what is the version number of MakeMKV that you used to try to rip (I presume you're referring to) "Skyfall" (Not to be confused with "Downfall" or "Deadfall", both of which also came out on disc this week ;>}) I just used MakeMKV v.1.7.9 to ...

Hi!
1) Is this a Blu-ray or is it a DVD?
2) Is the source that you're attempting to copy a disc or is it an .ISO image file, or is it a set of files?
(You've posted in the "Blu-ray Errors" sub-forum, but the files referred to appear to be DVD-related)

Hi!
Return the discs to the place of purchase in exchange for new replacement discs...These are both brand new out the box. :/

Hi!
Sounds like the disc is irretrievably damaged (not necessarily visible).
I'd suggest you return it to the place of purchase in exchange for a new replacement...

It seems curious that all the titles referred to in this thread are older releases - perhaps damaged or dirty, especially possible if purchased as "Previously Viewed"...

Re: Couple files wont play in media player
If you bought them as "Previously Used" at Blockbuster (now in process of closing their B&M operations), there's always a (good) possibility that they're damaged or dirty.
Therefore, I'd ask you whether you've determined if the originals play properly?

Hi!
1) Is the original source material a commercial DVD, a commercial Blu-ray disc, or something else?
2) What software and procedures did you use to create the movie files?
