@marcusj0015 Hi! Although you may be frustrated, your choice of language is unacceptable at this and many other forums. In addition to the fact that youngsters have access to this forum, there are also many mature people (myself included) who personally find such language offensive - and it certain...

Re: Margaret File Size
Hi!
Once you've seen enough Blu-rays you'll become aware that the main movie sizes can be anywhere from the low teens to the mid-40s GB filesize.
Just check to see if your rip plays properly ;>}

Re: Hotel Transylvania - not an error per se
Since you say the older version of MakeMKV fully ripped the Blu-ray without any eror notifications, I doubt that using an updated version is what cured the problem. I'd sooner suspect that either you cleaned the disc or some microscopic lint (or oil)fell off the laser between copies...

Certainly could ;>}Yes to both. Run time is correct and I have the Dolby TrueHD sound track. I did uncheck the core DD sound track. Could that account for the difference?

@woody777
Hi!
1) Have you checked the runtime of your rip, to at least ascertain that you're not missing any part of the movie itself?
2) Have you confirmed that the audio included in your rip is, in fact, the lossless Dolby TrueHD version

Re: GI Joe failure
Obvious question - Have you carefully examined the disc for physical damage and or dirt (peanut butter and jelly, perhaps, if you have little ones)?

Hi!
Retire your LG. No point in looking for trouble...Every disk that breaks with the LG BT20N works fine with the Samsung SE-506AB.

Re: Corrupt or invalid?
Sounds like a disc that is either dirty (You may not be able to see it) or damaged at the edge. Try cleaning the disc and your reader/burner... But when I cancel the conversion and/or close the program, it deletes what had been converted so I don't even get that much. Before cancelling, try copying...

Re: Looper (Latin America edition) Blu-ray- Unable to rip
@CRoberts Hi! I also tried to rip the file to my Hard Disk with AnyDVD HD and couldn't. Since two different output methods (MakeMKV and AnyDVD) failed, you might want to carefully clean your source disc and your reader/burner. If that doesn't resolve your issue, return the original, commercial disc...
