BY ALL MEANS, if "mike admin" says "DON'T INSTALL THE UDF 2.50 DRIVER" then DON'T install it.

You may have to install a "UDF 2.50" driver (Although I believe Makemkv takes care of that invisibly)...

@geogan Hi! Will your same Blu-ray drive NOW properly rip any Blu-ray discs thatyou've previously ripped successfully. Tghe fact that your drive has already been used to rip 500 Blu-ray discs may indicate that it's time for either a cleaning (Maxell makes a cleaning disc that sells for about $10US)...

Using the same equipment, are you NOW able to successfully rip Blu-ray discs that you've previously ripped prior to "Start Trek (2009)"?
Try cleaning your Blu-ray drive. Maxell makes a cleaning disc that sells for about $10US...
