@Bretty
HI!
Ever so slightly offtopic but, why are you bothering to first rip you original BluRau disc to an .ISO image file - and then using MakeMKV with the .ISO image file?
Why don't you just let MakeMKV rip your original BluRay disc to an .MKV file?

Re: Terminator Salvation issues
Since I and others have had no such problem when processing the R1 version of this BluRay disc, I'd suggest you: 1) Re-process your original BluRay disc with MakeMKV. If you again have the same problem, 2) Return your original BluRay disc to the place of purchase in exchange for a new replacement.

Re: No Video but Audio?
Again: 1) In VLC, have you clicked on the "Video" dropdown menu to see what options are available for video display? BTW, what version of Windows Media Player do you have? I've been able to play .MKVs in WMP since v.9... I'm on W7 64 bit edition. Sorry, I just noticed you're using Windows...

2) Have you tried playing the MKVs in the standard Windows Media Player?

Hi!
May I ask why you want to keep it in an MKV wrapper?
If it's not imperative that you do so, I'd suggest that you use multiAVCHD to directly compress the MKV as a BluRay "package" (BDMV folder, etc.).

Re: Terminator Salvation issues
Are you SURE you selected the primary movie title for creating the MKV? (It should be the largest, likely greater than 10GB and comprised of more than 10 Chapters)

Re: Need help ripping Blu-Ray Distric 9 w/Alien Subtitles
Perhaps I'm mistaken but, I don't believe MakeMKV is presently capable of SUCCESSFULLY/PROPERLY ripping BluRay subtitles ("PGS" files). Although it will show that the PGS files (if selected) have been ripped, no program will recognize them. If I'm mistaken, I'd hope that "Mike Chen&q...

Re: Subtitles ALWAYS present in latest release
But NOW the subtitle is automatically and ALWAYS displayed in ALL WMP, MPC or VLC players! It can't be disabled! Those subtitles most certainly CAN be turned off under VLC: Once the video is playing, click on the "Video" dropdown menu, click on "Subtitles" and then select "...

Re: Can chapters be retained?
Chapters of both DVDs and BluRays ARE retained in the MKVs created by MakeMKV. Access to them is dependent upon the capabilities of the software player you're using. Try using the (freeware) VLC player. Load the MKV file and once it's begun playing, clcik on the "Video" dropdown and selct...
