2) Are you sure it can playback subtitles?
3) Does it require you to select subtitles from a dropdown menu (As VLC does)?

How do they play with a software player?
How do they play on a standalone player?I have two blu-ray rips, Transformers 2 and Half-blood Prince. Both ripped with MakeMKV 1.4.11. Neither one plays well on the wdtv.

Did the list of Titles contain several of the same or approximately the same running time? If so, as opposed to either multi-angles or seamless joins, some of them may be part of the protection scheme.
