Re: John Wick Chapter 2
After reading the entire thread, it seems like some people getting the disc from Redbox are getting a retail version of the disc (with TrueHD audio), this is not surprising, I have seen this with Netflilx as well, where I received a retail version while others reported getting a non-retail (you can ...

Re: John Wick - US Version
As mentioned in my previous post, 0641 is 100% the correct file for the Netflix rental version. This is not 100% true. It seems like Netflix is shipping two versions of this disc. The version I received from Netflix did have TrueHD audio and it did NOT have 00641.mpls. So I think it's actually the ...

Re: Divergent Bluray
First, if you are using AnyDVD 7.5.0.0, this disc will cause AnyDVD to crash. You have to install AnyDVD 7.5.0.2 Beta to fix this. Using the rental disc of Divergent, AnyDVD is reporting this: Java BD protection good playlists: 370, 612, 810 Given that others have reported a play length of 2:19:40, ...

Re: Divergent Bluray
Yes please. There is like 1000's of them. Go into your settings (the little wrench icon) and set the "Minimum title length (seconds):" to something like 3600. That will filter out everything under 1 hour, which should cover most previews, special features, etc and leave you with just movi...

Re: RED 2
I just want to add that I've now used this script on several movies (Red2, Hunger Games, Hunger Games Catching Fire, etc), and the script works every time. I've added a descriptive "usage" header to the script. Thanks again. # /usr/bin/perl find-playlist.perl <bluray root dir> # # This scr...

Re: RED 2
I discovered while being frustrated by this disc that the correct sequence is encoded in the files within the BDMV/CLIPINF directory. there is a .clpi file in there for each .m2ts in BDMV/STREAM, where the first occurance of XXXXXM2TS (XXXXX being a stream number) points to the next m2ts file that ...

Re: Life of Pi
I can confirm what was said above, the difference is one has forced English subtitles turned on and one doesn't.
Life of Pi
00800.mpls - does not have forced subtitles turned on
00802.mpls - has forced subtitles turned on
Check at minute 13 of the movie for forced subtitles.

Brothers blu-ray
I have the same problem with Brothers (2009) Bluray that I purchased, I'm using the PC version of MakeMKV 1.5.8. The movie rips to about 98% and then fails. I tried it 4 times. I also tried it with and without AnyDVD enabled. No luck at all.

Re: Rip bluray to HD with TrueHD or MTS
That's great news!! I can't wait for 1.4.10. I have the Radeon 5750, the new FFDshow and can bitstream TrueHD or DTS-MA to my receiver. Now all I need is MakeMKV to support the HD audio.

Re: PLEASE PLEASE Add TrueHD ripping for Blu-Rays
As usual therer are always various IFs and I'm not in the position to give exact dates. However it is fairly safe to say that in next couple months MakeMKV would be able to extract TrueHD tracks and put them either as LPCM or FLAC into MKV. The support for "native TrueHD" in MKV container...
