I have seen this before also. I have no explanation for it. When I restarted my computer (Mac) the next morning, it showed normal size.

Others did not rip the disk you have. Replace the disk.

BB steel book ripped fine for me yesterday.

Where are you at? I ripped Hackers a week ago. US version.
