Just a quick question. Does Apple have any issues with HDR10+? I just want to know if there's anything else I need to do for discs that don't have Dolby Vision support. There are very few 4K UHD discs that have HDR10+ and do not have DV also. Someone wrote a little program that would convert HDR10+...

4K UHD discs with DV use Dolby Vision profile 7.0. Makemkv rips these titles to DV profile 7.0. In Mediainfo, the MKV rips should report something like this in the video HDR format line: "Dolby Vision, Version 1.0, Profile 7.6, dvhe.07.06, BL+EL+RPU, no metadata compression, Blu-ray compatible ...

I have seen this before also. I have no explanation for it. When I restarted my computer (Mac) the next morning, it showed normal size.

What firmware are you on your Asus. I have the same and I cannot get The Abyss extended to rip. 3-4 tries but still not working. Thanks.
