Re: 3D MVC Option
I've only had success using Intel 3D stereo and nvidia with Stereoscopic Player. Never tried AMD but make sure the drivers are the most recent as always.

Re: 3D MVC Option
I guess what I was trying to say is, Cyberlink have the resources to figure this out if they really wanted to.

Re: 3D MVC Option
Really...? Cyberlink have happily just said oh yes it all works plays 3d mkv just fine and they need a customer to forward them the technical information. PowerDVD was the second software DVD player to ever come out in the day. If these guys can't sniff around these forums or look at the matroska fo...

Let us know if it plays the subtitles when playing back a 3D ISO that has forced ones, i.e. Avatar or The Avengers...

Re: 3D MVC Option
Forgive me as I don't have the ability to test this at the moment but if I install ffmpeg and Stereoscopic, it will playback full HD 3D MKV files, with no playback issues, outputting full HD audio as well? And this can be run as an external player script from XBMC? Hmm, I can't say for sure, becaus...

Re: 3D MVC Option
You're right. Just checked, it's still using Software Decoding. Only stereoscopic player @ 3dtv.at can play 3D MKV MVC. But it doesn't play it that well, and with no HD Audio. Step in the right direction but still not where we'd like it to be. If you install ffmpeg like it says in the install instr...

Re: 3D MVC Option
AWESOME! Glad to report PowerDVD 13 plays 3D MKV MVC and output to TV via hdmi 1.4a. Unlike stereoscopic player, those with nvidia needs not to buy nvidia 3dtv play. Wait, did you compare it to playing the ISO? Last time I tried it in 12 it was simulating the 3D and it wasn't using the full resolut...

Re: 3D MVC Option
So they don't fix it in PowerDVD 12 after saying they support it and didn't. Then they provide it in PowerDVD 13.
Paying for functionality they promised fricking blows.

Re: Ice Age 4 3D strange 3d format
This disc is special, it's the only disc that none of the main ripping software can rip 3D properly off, anydvd, dvdfab as well as makemkv do not present a playlist to be able to rip the main movie in 3D.
There is a bonus disc that is in the same boat (Ice Age Mammoth Christmas 3D).

Re: Egreat R6S is playing 3D .mkv made with MakeMkv
Interesting, could I trouble you to check a few things for me? Does the media player let you skip chapters (and not just jumping a preset amount of time)? Does the media player support blu-ray PGS subtitles and more importantly, PGS subtitles playing back in 3D movies? 3D Blu-Rays with forced subtit...

Re: 3D Blu-Rays - A Guide!
It sounds like you want to do something that MakeMKV wasn't designed for. If you don't care for the difference in quality then use DVDfab to make side by side MKVs from 3D blurays. If you want the full quality, use stereoscopic or stick with making 3D ISO movie only with DVDfab and PowerDVD. I actua...

Re: Avatar 3D
I can rip the disc with 1.7.10, and there are two titles of interest. After ripping; Both are marked as stereo with 2 view counts. One has chapters. One has three sets of english subtitles. One has two sets of english subtitles. Both play fine using MPC-HC. How do I know which on is the 2D version ...
