Does your os see the blurays.
Sounds like your blu-ray laser died it sadly very common on the LG/Asus desktop drives


That could be it. I have an LG WH14NS40 that I got when I built the machine 5 years ago. I'll check it out. I had no idea the laser for the blu ray was separate from the DVD ...
