Re: Backup to Blu-ray ISO files
If you were to backup a 3d blu ray, then create an Iso, then burn that Iso to a blu ray disc, I think there are issues playing it. I think 3d is the only type of disc this creates an issue for correct?

Re: No help for 3d huh? That stinks...
Unfortunately the blu ray player I have doesn't playback MKV files in 3d, only 2d. Looks like I'm stuck buying another piece of software then...bummer. Thanks for the explanation though.

Re: Playing 4K HDR Bluray RIP directly
While it is nice to have things integrated, "Smart" is a term TV manufacturers throw about with abandon, and really doesn't mean what people think it means. And, when the TV manufacturer "gets bored" with your model, the updates to allow it to support more stuff evaporate. Some ...

Re: Playing 4K HDR Bluray RIP directly
IF you are asking whether your TV can play '4K HDR .mkv content directly from HDD', it depends on what your TV (player) supports. I don't believe you've shared what make/model TV you have, but the TV manual will detail what video/audio codecs are supported. That makes sense. I am waiting for SONY X...

No help for 3d huh? That stinks...
So I have posted a few questions about 3d copies. I know how to make a backup and every time I create a backup, delete the MakeMKV folder and use imgburn to burn the backup to a BDR disc the playback is fine. But when I complete the same process with ANY 3d movie, the disc loads, I select the langua...

3d disc issues still in 1.14
I am still having issues with backing up 3d discs. I thought my issue was being able to burn discs from backups but have successfully burned several discs from 2d backups. But whenever I try to burn a disc from a 3d disc backup it fails to play in my player. I have tried several brands of discs all ...

Re: HDR MKV not working
Just put the MKV files on an external drive and plug it into the tv and use the built in video app...problem solved.

Burning full backup to disc
Hi all. Looking for some help with creating a blu ray disc from a backup. I have tried several times with multiple discs and always get the same result. I do a full decrypted disc backup. I use imgburn to burn the bdmv and certificate file and the disc burns fine. I put in the blu ray player and the...

Issue creating blu ray disc copy from backup
Hi everyone. I have been having trouble with 3d discs. I have read a few of the other threads but they all seem to peter out before my specific issue is resolved. I now understand that in order to playback an MKV in 3d you have to do it on a computer with the right software. Cool... I have been tryi...

Re: UHD drives
For those of you considering buying a UHD drive from someone from the forum, I recently bought one from @jonghotti and it works perfect. Competitive pricing and extremely helpful. I would purchase from him again in a heartbeat...no question. Plus the guy is just a cool dude. If you are considering g...

Re: 100% Firmware Downgrade for ASUS BW-16D1HT and LG BH16NS55
No suggestions huh? Bummer. Looks like it's a paper weight...lol At least it was cheap and I've done a fair amount of reading on the subject now. So quick question. If I were to buy a drive that was on 1.03, with the unlocked flasher, to downgrade, is it a simple flash with the lower firmware? Or do...

Re: 100% Firmware Downgrade for ASUS BW-16D1HT and LG BH16NS
Nope. Just flashed away...screwed? Depends, most likely no. How does the drive identifies itself? Is it visible at all? If yes, what is the manufacturer and model name? Identifies itself as Asus bw-16d1ht Firmware 3.02 I flashed it from the LG firmware 1.02 to bh14ns40_n1.00-a4_patched.exe Worked f...
