i just tried the riplock free bp40n drive and the asus drive.
the bp40n drive ripped at 5.4 speed. the asus for home system ran at a average of 15.8 times and ripped a disc at 6 minutes from beginning to end. very happy.

anyone know if there is a uhd modified drive for laptops on sale. thanks in advance.

How about programming the feature libre drive to max speed if possible or uploading a modified version of firmware for the most popular drives with riplock removed to increase read/write speed. that would be great. thanks in advance.

just a suggestion is their any way to make the program faster read and write to and from the source/destination.
