Re: makemkvcon: How to remux (into .mkv) a DVD backup folder?
The syntax appears to have changed somewhat recently — now makemkvcon doesn't detect nor require the 'file:' parameter. A sample command (Linux) to rip a BD folder: makemkvcon mkv --robot ~/Videos/discs/BD/BDMV/index.bdmv all ~/Videos/discs/remux/ | less I tested with a DVD and BD, both decrypted to...

Re: makemkvcon: How to remux (into .mkv) a DVD backup folder?
I was missing the `file:` prefix: example commands for both DVD and BD: makemkvcon mkv --robot file:/mnt/media/DVD-folder/VIDEO_TS.IFO all /the/output/path makemkvcon mkv --robot file:/mnt/media/BD-folder/BDMV/index.bdmv all /the/output/path Extracts all titles from a DVD or BD directory. See the ma...

Re: Default output file name template
It has been asked twice: does makemkvcon have support for the output template and can it create folders (doesn't appear so, I used a non-existing sub-directory)?

makemkvcon, Linux: How to remux a DVD or BD backup folder?
I haven't found a way to remux a loose folder with the CLI build; the instructions has a related example: Copy all titles from first disc and save as MKV files: makemkvcon mkv disc:0 all c:\folder I'm not copying from a disk, but a local disk backup directory . I've tried running: makemkvcon --robot...

Re: The Rocky Horror Picture Show - countless of entries
Only other 'guess' I have is to try a title w/ 36 chapters & a runtime of ~01:40.08. It's an old film. Also, do you have a 'minimum title length (in seconds)' set on the preferences > Video tab. Looks like MakeMKV is reporting ~all the video sequences on the disc. I set the value to '1500' (unl...

Re: The Rocky Horror Picture Show - countless of entries
I have Java SE 8 installed, "fake playlist" doesn't appear to be detected for this disc. I don't have any Blu-ray with "hundreds of playlists" at hand.d00zah wrote: ↑Sun Aug 26, 2018 2:15 pmPlaylist obfuscation. Do you have Java installed? See:

Has this been confirmed as a DRM feature?

The Rocky Horror Picture Show - countless of entries
Why does MakeMKV display so many tracks with massive size for The Rocky Horror Picture Show Blu-ray? Does this commonly happen with Blu-ray discs?
