i have both newly gotten ... ASUS BW-16D1HT and LG WH16NS40 both are ejecting uhd right away....is this normal? I was on the understanding these two drives cold transfer data from uhd even though they aren't uhd burners...was i misinformed? could the case its in make a difference? getting frustrate...

You might also need to check if your blu-ray optical drive is working fine and can read blu-rays. If it’s an external blu ray drive, check if connected tightly. MakeMKV is a good software and I’ve been using this app for 6+ years.

Since your using the latest version of MakeMKV, not sure why you’re getting the Error 'Scsi error - ILLEGAL REQUEST:INVALID FIELD” Years ago I once encountered a similar Scsi error message, the solution I did was to get a newer version of MakeMKV and that solved the problem. i searched all i can, but the fact that Dvd-Fab can read the discs implies its not hardware.
Can you indicate what OS are you on and how is your blu-ray connected to your PC. Are you using the latest version of MakeMKV
