i have both newly gotten ... ASUS BW-16D1HT and LG WH16NS40 both are ejecting uhd right away....is this normal? I was on the understanding these two drives cold transfer data from uhd even though they aren't uhd burners...was i misinformed? could the case its in make a difference? getting frustrate...

You might also need to check if your blu-ray optical drive is working fine and can read blu-rays. If it’s an external blu ray drive, check if connected tightly. MakeMKV is a good software and I’ve been using this app for 6+ years.

Thanks BlueMac77 - very useful info Do these drives have to be flashed to use LibreDrive, and if no, can they be flashed and what would the advantage in flashing them be?
