I believe this issue has not been solved. I too get audio drops at various points in the MKV produced from the UHD disc of The Martian Extended with the Dolby Atmos track. Has anybody been able to get a 2180p /w Atmos MKV of this film (the Extended cut) with no audio drops? No one has nor ever will...

I just came here to drop a nugget of knowledge. If you have the Dolby Atmos blu ray from Germany of this film... And if you have the "unreleased" 4K version of the film, which only has a DTS-MA 5.1 audio track... You can mux the Atmos track onto the 4K video, with a delay of 1210 milliseco...
