My disc works fine in the Blu-ray player, it’s just the rip that is messed up.

Very strange - AACS v61 isn't the "latest and greatest", so MakeMKV 1.12.x should be able to decode it, assuming it can read the root directory properly. As a test to see if it's a problem specifically with 1.12, could you install one of the 1.10 versions from http://makemkv.com/download/...
