Just got this from Target. Won't rip. I'm assuming it's the same reason as everybody else (says "The volume key is unknown for this disc" and "Failed to open disc"). I won't bother sending in the AACS dump file since others already have.

I just got an ASUS BW-16D1HT, and within about five minutes of installing it I was able to flash the firmware and get it reading UHD discs. Got my first disc ripping right now so hopefully it works.

Greatest Showman playback issue
I'm getting issues when ripping The Greatest Showman blu-ray. MakeMKV isn't giving me any errors, but when I play it back through Plex it gives me a scrambled screen every minutes or so. It shows mostly green and only lasts for half a secord or quarter of a second, but it persists throughout almost ...

Very strange - AACS v61 isn't the "latest and greatest", so MakeMKV 1.12.x should be able to decode it, assuming it can read the root directory properly.
As a test to see if it's a problem specifically with 1.12, could you install one of the 1.10 versions from http://makemkv.com/download/old ...
