Re: V1.16.7 won't install
Running the installer yesterday did not create a new folder at all as far as I could tell. Today I put a copy of the installer on the desktop and ran that which did succeed. It could possibly be related to 1Drive... I thought I had gotten rid of it, but there are remnants. Anyway, V1.16.7 is startin...

V1.16.7 won't install
V1.16.5 was working just fine. Running the V1.16.7 installer starts out OK - it uninstalls the previous version leaving an empty MakeMKV folder but it then announces the folder is not empty and will not proceed. I've deleted the empty folder and run the installer again, but the same thing happens. H...

Re: Can't quit processing of faulty DVDs
I'm having a problem with a particular track on a particular disc. Make MKV can't stop when it is waiting for the drive, BUT, the same disc in the same drive using DVDFab fails in the same area and does stop within a second when told to cancel. Just saying. If they can do it so should MakeMKV imho.

Re: Can't quit processing of faulty DVDs
Just a further thought - It would be useful if there was an option to NOT try to read obviously faulty areas of a disc and jump to the next good section. Sure, you're going to be missing a short bit of the content, but that's better than watching a whole lot of pixellated mush, which is all I've eve...

Can't quit processing of faulty DVDs
If MakeMKV encounters errors due to radial scratches it can take hours to get past a [tiny] faulty area. When you don't have the time for this, you click the Stop button, but very annoyingly MakeMKV just ignores it and keeps rollin' along... The only way to stop it is to eject the disc. Would it be ...

Highest AACS version
MakeMKV tells me my BD drive's highest AACS version is 63. Does that mean I won't be able to process discs with a higher AACS version? Is it possible to flash a BD drive's firmware to update the AACS version? If I need to buy a new BD drive, how would I find out what AACS version it supports before ...
