Re: Writing application : MakeMKV v1.4.9 beta win(x86-release)
As I said it's just a minor pickiness. I would like all my rips to show the same program and version, and once this comes out of beta and I use it my rips will not have beta in this meta data value, making them different to ones i'm doing now. Is there not a piece of software that just allows editin...

Writing application : MakeMKV v1.4.9 beta win(x86-release)
Hiya,
This is going to sound really picky, but is there anyway to change this value in the output MKV file? I'd like it to just say 'MakeMKV win(x86-release)'.
Once MakeMKV come out of beta, I don't fancy re-ripping all my films!

Re: DVD Subtitles
Thanks!
I'll give those a try and see what happens.
If I ripped a load of DVDs without subs, can I just rip the sub track and merge with the existing movie/audio MKV using mkvmerge?

2 Disc Films
Hiya,
What is the method to combine films that are split across 2 (or more) disks into a single MKV file? I assume use MakeMKV to get what you need then MKVmerge, but will this show as a seamless single MKV file, i.e. no 'jumps' from disk to disk.

Re: PLEASE PLEASE Add TrueHD ripping for Blu-Rays
Would you be kind enough to keep us updated on this Mike. I have a few hundred DVD's to be getting on with but it would be great to have FLAC support for when I get onto the few BD's I have.
Also, any idea when this will be a finished product?
Thanks

FLAC
Hiya
As MakeMKV (or MKV itself) doesn't yet support the HD audio formats, how difficult would it be it to add conversion to FLAC as an immediate alternative?
I believe it reduces the file size as well so good news all round.
Also, how long before it goes 'RTM'?
Thanks

Re: TrueHD
Do we know when this will be 'fixed'. I have plenty of DVDs to be getting on with (and only ~8 BDs), but if it's going to be ages I may need to look at alternates for BD's as I want the highest quality sound track available.
Thanks
