I just completed a factory reset on my machine. Reinstalled make mkv and it is working great again.

I was going to do a system recovery and booted my computer to safe mode. I thought I would try makemkv just to see... And it worked in safe mode but still doesn't work when the computer is running normally. This is my old backup computer so I can leave it in safe mode while I try to figure out what'...

I was able to change the data directory and I am running as the administrator.

I believe you are correct about the write permission but I am having trouble making it work. Obviosly changing the destinationfolder isn't helping.

Previous version doesn't work now.

I will try a previous version. It is working then it stops. I think it is creating a dump file but I cant read it. I have been looking at the windows event viewer but I don't know what im looking at/for.

No luck...It worked fine before the update. The program does work when doing a full disk backup decrypted. I must have something messed up in some of the settings. ugh.

I think it is failing because it show no location to output. maybe? I am trying to change the ouput folder now.

It is a windows 8 64 bit system with AMD 10 processor. it finds the disc, goes through the decryption then when it gets to where you would select which streams you want it gets the fatal error.

I keep getting fatal error and the program closes after I updated to v1.12.2 win(x64-release). Any ideas? It was working awesome.

I am watching my 4k movies on a hard drive attached to my TV via USB. I rip the movie with the HD audio and my TV plays the MKV files with no problem. Audio is output from the TV to the receiver. I can stream 1080p from my NAS but haven't tried 4K yet. TV is a Samsung 82mu8000(2017 model).
