Re: Reliable Way to Determine "Episode Order" for TV Series Blu Ray Discs
This method does seem to work for a vast majority of discs I have. I'm sure I will run into some that it will not work. I'm now going to take this method and put it into a python script for automation. MakeMKV CLI -< Output File -< Filebot (For Naming Episode) What I did was I wrote up in a .json f...

Re: UHD drives
But doesn't this thread specifically say not to update the firmware? If it doesn't increase compatibility then I don't think it's worth it. At this point I'll only use it for ripping UHD and my other one for regular blurays. If I upgrade the firmware I'll never be able to get back to 3.00 because m...

Re: UHD drives
I got the Asus BW-16D1HT drive along with the Vantec enclosure. It came with 3.00 firmware and seems to have ripped Interstellar UHD okay although I haven't watched the whole thing yet. I've noticed that the drive doesn't seem to fail gracefully like my other Asus external bluray SBC-06D2X-U drive ...

Re: 100% Firmware Downgrade for ASUS BW-16D1HT and LG BH16NS
- Maybe someone could try, via DOSFLASH (the DOS modified version), to force to flash a NS50 firmware on a NS40 device and see if it works (after importing needed data, of course). Hi you all, Just got a LG BH16NS40 (Oct 2015) SVC Code NS40 Has anyone been successful at flashing the NS50 firmware o...

Re: Asus BW-16D1HT Firmware
I apologize for the crosspost, but I wasn't really sure which topic to post it in. In any case, I appreciate the responses, and was able to get my drive back up and running.TeddyRaspin wrote:Why are you crossposting the same question ?
Anyway the answer is NO, the NS50 firmware will not work on a NS40 device.

Re: 100% Firmware Downgrade for ASUS BW-16D1HT and LG BH16NS
Does anyone happen to have a firmware file for a WH16NS40 with SVC tag of NS40? I made the mistake of trying to flash to the ASUS 3.02 firmware with this drive before I read about the SVC tag differences, and now the drive doesn't load any discs at all.

Re: Asus BW-16D1HT Firmware
@TeddyRaspin I managed to flash in 1.02 but now he does not want to play any discs anymore. a solution? Thanks. You're going to need the calibration data. I ordinarily wouldn't link to a competing site's forum, but, in this case you desperately need this patch: https://forum.redfox.bz/threads/anydv...

Re: UHD drives
Hey everyone,
I just got a BW-16D1HT today, with firmware 3.02. I thought that was going to work, but when I inserted my Independence Day UHD disc, it just spun for a few seconds, then said no disc. Any suggestions?
