I recently had to reinstall Windows and went to reinstall makemkv, which was easy enough. But, when I got to trying to register my product that's when things became a little more difficult. Well I shouldn't say nothing happens, the standard whirring and noise happens like the drives are trying to read the disc. But then it stops and no results are found.

Correct. No makemkv running, I insert the disc, nothing happens, I right click the corresponding drive and attempt to explore and the following message is displayed "please insert disc" and the drive ejects.

Well I tried to do some searching to answer my questions, but my wife and I literally just had a baby and I am in the hospital with her recovering and feeding a newborn. I am hoping someone who has had kids will sympathize and answer my questions even if they have been asked before on this forum =)....
