I have forgotten how to automatically remove the "t00" at the end of the title output in preferences.
As an example, when I ripped the dvd disc "Destination Tokyo (1943)", the output is "Destination Tokyo(1943)_t00". TIA for all help.

Re: Jurassic Park 4K - Volume Key s unknown.
Just purchased the same set and have the exact same problem.
Has anyone found a solution?
Has anyone returned the set for a new one and had positive results in ripping the $K disc?
Thanks

Re: [Newbie] - which file to choose when ripping?
There can be many differences in "cuts". A rather extreme example is the many versions of the original Blade Runner . In BR's case, there is a set you can buy that has all of them... spread across several disks. Theatrical cuts are usually done to fit a particular length to keep the theat...

Billy is the best. Ships very fast and is very reliable. If you need a drive, don't hesitate, just get a hold of Billy. You will not be disappointed.

Re: Automatic Selection Of Subtitles
Something like this, maybe? (My rule w/subtitle selection modified per linked post) -sel:all,+sel:audio&(favlang),-sel:mvcvideo,+sel:subtitle&(eng|fre|spa),=100:all,-10:favlang https://www.makemkv.com/forum/viewtopic.php?f=10&t=4386#p17399 That was exactly what I wanted but was not able...

Automatic Selection Of Subtitles
Searched the forums but could not find the answer. I want the program to automatically select the English, Spanish, and French subtitles so I don't have to always manually select these items. I know it is preferences, advanced, and I think default selection rule, but from there, I can't find the rul...

Re: Why can't all DVDs be ripped?
Thanks again for your reply Woodman. I'm not getting any notices, all I get is a .mkv with 0 mb. Odd. You state that the file is showing 0mb. I had this happen last week and the problem was that all I had to do was refresh the page and the correct file size showed up and I was able to view the file...

Re: BluRay ripping fails since installing v1.14.3
I had the same problem over the last two days after upgrading to v1.14.3. This morning I downgraded back to v1.14.2 and so far all is well. I am having to rerip all of my disc's and will post if there are any further problems. You might try downgrading to v1.14.2 and see what happens.

Re: MakeMKV , reliable and stable for ripping ?
I have been using MakeMKV for a little over a year now and have had no problem with the files. I have DVD's, Blu-Ray's, and UHD's and they all playback flawlessly. I have recently (for the last 3 or 4 months) been buying quite a few DVD's from the 40's a 50's (movies made in that time frame and only...

Re: [OPINION] Price is too high
And lets not forget the new UHD keys that have to be done every time there is a new release. We just submit the output file to Mike and then within a short while, we can decrypt that new release disk. And we are never charged for this service either. I bought my license within weeks of starting to u...

Re: Problem with Babylon 5 Crusade DVDs
I don't have an answer to your problem but I am not understanding your process. Whenever I rip DVD's, Blu-Rays, or UHD's, I just use MakeMKV for the whole thing. This has always worked perfectly for me with no other programs. Why are you using three or four programs to do what one will do. I am prob...

Re: Keep Orginal MKVs or Recompressed?
Hey, thanks for the reply. So, tell me about your streaming setup. Do you have something like Plex server on another machine and that server references the media files via your lan and where there are separate Plex client apps running on something like an Apple TV connected to each TV? How are you ...

This is just my experience, but when I insert a disc in my computer I then start MakeMKV and it picks up the disc and just works. Good Luck.

Re: Keep Orginal MKVs or Recompressed?
I am something of a purist when it comes to my videos. I never compress them and I tell plex to always stream in original quality. To some this can create storage problems but it just got me to build a FreeNAS server with 5 8TB WD reds. This currently gives me a storage capacity of about 21 TB of wh...
