im reporting back after dns change and computer restart i was able to rip the real action Aladdin movie successfully to my computer without the usual automatic SDF download has failed,the program seems to be working now, thanks to everyone who posted the good ideas here.

I think my makemkv program is working better.i only get it asking me for the hashed keys now.im going to try a another uhd movie i have later and report back.

can anyone give me insight into the debug code here i assume its related to sdf downloading,any help would be welcomed,im not complaining by any means

i read on somewhere i cant remember where i think it was here that makemkv uses java to help process the encrypted video file .I dont know if this means decryption or playing back file after its on your hard drive.

I was able to decrypt Hellboy US version UHD disk without any problems,It took me a little longer then usual to decrypt but the end result seems to be a fully intact copy.I have yet to turn it into a mkv file but i will do that when I feel up to it.

I would imagine the license the studios pay is very expensive.i wonder if the next copy protecton scheme the studios come up with will be just as complex as the one used for 4k discs.curious minds wonder😌
