Re: Verbatim 43888 and 43889
I read the whole thread and still not sure. With current stock is there any difference between 43888 and 43889? Should I pick one over the other? I can get both at the same price from the same reputable seller. Thanks These days, both are usually a BU40N drive inside so the only difference is that ...

Re: Reading AACS dump file to integrate into keydb.cfg
Hi. I bought a BD that contains AACS2.0/C v82 for the purpose of trying out if I can bypass the copy protection. That is my only UHD BD and to my surprise it came out with a "revoked certificate" error. I tried this with VLC with 1.03MK firmware for BU40N. The jewel case came with two BDs...

Re: Any update on Good Luck, Have Fun, Don't Die?
It's not decrypting yet. Thanks!! Did you email your dump file to svq@makemkv.com for processing? Not doing so isn't going to help... Did you create a post in the Public KeyDB Submissions thread with the required information so a key record could also be added to the KeyDB? The public KeyDB is ofte...

Re: WP50NB40 NB52 Restore to stock firmware?
I have a WP50NB40 NB52. I successfully cross flashed it to BU40N 1.00. Used it to burn 4K for a few weeks, then the drive started having issues reading discs. I need to send this to LG for a warranty device swap, but I want to downgrade the firmware to anything that will show WP50NB40 in the Device...

Re: PIONEER BD-RW BDR-S13U 1.04 stopped working?
So far it appears either my enclosure has failed or the disc drive has failed. This is super disappointing. Re: Best Internal BluRay Burner (5.25) for PC?
Thanks for the info on the Buffalo, I saw the related post on shucking it. Problem now is that it went out of stock at the decent price. Of course. So for the Asus BW-16D1X-U, is this drive shuckable and has a standard 5.25 drive inside with standard SATA connections? Thank you Yeah, I believe so.

Re: Buffalo Media Drive
Ok, there're two possibilities in my opinion: 1. Get the drive out for a look to the modell. The save way. or 2. Blind trying the recovery mode with the SDF Flasher. In the first drop down menu use the BU40N firmware from the first flash and in the second drop down use the WH16NS60 1.02MK. In the w...

Thank you for the response. I understand the price increases/lack of supply, but for example there are some random drives being sold, such as below.
