Re: A Canterbury Tale (1944) Dump Submitted

This disc uses a newer version of AACS protection. Backup failed. I already reported this using the link in the error message. A link to the AACS .tgz dump file is below in case anyone can follow this up more quickly. Always appreciative of forum members support. https://drive.google.com/file/d/1TR...

Re: The Alfred Hitchcock Hour: Season One (1962-1963)

Hi MartyMcNuts, I have a Pioneer drive (purchased from you) which is unfortunately not supported on Public KeyDB Disc Submission thread. Sincerely, kzwfwd Dumps from some Pioneer drives can be used, not the BDR-UD03 and BDR-UD04 though. If using one of those drives, why are you posting the dumps? T...

Jurassic World Rebirth

This also indicated a new AACS version v82.

This is for the standard Blu-ray. The 4K UHD rip with latest update of keydb.cfg works.
Did you email the dump to svq@makemkv.com as per the standard process? If not please do so.

I have also sent you a PM.

Re: LibreDrive for Pioneer drives

Hi. I have been buying and returning external blue ray rippers lately, trying to find one that would work to read and rip 4k UHD. This is the last one I got and it has firmware from 12/2022. I did not update this, this was fresh out of the box. I did not download a Pioneer utility to update firmwar...

Re: Difficulties Ripping Over 90GB

I should clarify; I have. I cleaned one disc that was giving me issues, and it wasn't reading. My drive was making weird noises when trying to read it, like a loud whirring click every five or six seconds or so. The disc isn't defective. It works on my PS5. My drive just doesn't recognize there's a...

Re: Ultimate UHD Drives Flashing Guide Updated 2025

Hi guys, I'm completely new here but I need some advice. I played with the idea of getting a drive to rip my blu rays for quite some time now but frankly I just feared venturing into yet another AV-related rabbit hole but since more and more drive manufacturers seem to fold, I figured I get one as ...

Re: Difficulties Ripping Over 90GB

I feel like this has been answered somewhere in the past, but searching for it is incredibly aggravating. So for context, I have an LG BP60NB10 drive, as recommended per the list of drives. I've flashed it, I've gotten it set up, everything's good to go...then I get to the problem at hand and the r...

Re: Bricked LG BU40N - Stuck in Boot Mode

Howdy, I'll just get down to it, I don't know what came over me, but I used an official LG firmware update package on my BU40N, and for some reason that rendered my drive completely unusable. The disk tray won't even open, but it does show up, just with a 'BOOT' suffix. I tried to use the SDF tool ...

Re: Discs not getting through the initial scan process

Hi all, I am extremely new to makemkv. In fact, I am 4 or so hours in. I purchased this drive: https://www.amazon.com/dp/B07MTP9VKX?ref=ppx_yo2ov_dt_b_fed_asin_title&th=1 and when I popped a regular DVD in it worked perfectly out of the box. Then I moved on to a 4k disc and this is where all th...
