i may have figured it out. but for a while it was telling me that it was patched but whenever i put in backrooms or mario galaxy 4K discs, the disc would stop spinning, it'd tell me no errors at all, and say there's no disc. i think the problem was there wasn't enough power going into the drive ...

WH16NS60 1.02-MK is recommended if you use MakeMKV and/or Xreveal for UHD discs. WH16NS60 1.00 if you use other UHD disc ripping software such as DVDFab.

Drive:

Firmware: 1.00 (Original, unpatched)
LibreDrive: Enabled
MakeMKV: 1.18.4

Probably not. Are you sure the disc doesn't have any scratches or blemishes on it? Do you know anyone else that has a UHD compatible drive that can try to rip the disc for you? Then you will know if the disc is the problem.

Have you actually tried backing up the disc to a folder using MakeMKV?? I know you don't want to rip them but you may have to for this one to figure out what the problem is. Try doing a folder backup (2nd button from left) and if it fails, paste the log window text here.
