Re: Trying to flash my WH16NS40 - scaling error on sdftools?
Hi friends, This is more a Windows issue than an issue with flashing, so forgive me if this isn't in the right section! I tried flashing my WH16NS40 drive with the flasher tool and makemkv still says it has original firmware. I noticed I accidentally downloaded the old version of sdftools, so I dow...

Re: Edit MKV file
Remuxing will just take the video/audio tracks selected(as they are) and place them in a new mkv container. Thanks! By creating the decrypted backup, for blu-rays, you can even go into the BDMV/STREAM/ folder in the backup and find the .m2ts file(s) of the movies and play them before you rip to mak...

Re: Archgon HL-DT-ST BD-RE BU40N Errors
ensure you are writing DE_LG_BU40N_1.03_MK firmware. If your Archgon is new it likely has encrypted firmware so include enc in your command. Post your command here and we can tell you if it is correct. Thank you for the reply Marty. I have tried using your SDFtool software with the DE_LG_BU40N_1.03...

Re: Strange issues with a specific disc
I am using a Buffalo BRUHD-PU3-BK. The disc often does not load in file explorer and I can hear the disc spinning up and down and up and down. Plays in a normal Blu-ray player fine, all episodes are working in both languages and all extras play. Drive Information OS device name: D: Manufacturer: BU...

Re: LG BU40N
Hi I have used a LG BU40N drive with a Vantec enclosure for 4,5 years without any problems and used the drive less than two weeks ago. Yesterday i wanted to backup some new films and now Windows and MakeMkv 1.17.6 cannot recognize the drive. There hasn't been any signs until yesterday that the driv...
