Re: Pioneer BDR-X13 Usb
Got this drive to use to rip my UHD drives to use in Meida Server at home and it works great with DVD Fab ripping blu-rays but not recognizing by UHD discs. Do I need to change the firmware. UHD only works on Pioneer drives with MakeMKV and that is only if the firmware date is prior to December 202...

Re: Which title on The Fall Guy US
I searched the Internet and every forum here. Can't seem to find the answer. Trying to rip the Extended Cut disc but can't figure out which title to rip. The 80GB or 86GB. Please help. Aren't they on separate discs? My set has 2 x UHD discs in it, one for the theatrical and the other disc is the ex...

Re: Blu Ray won't burn
I have successfully ripped a lot of DVD and Blu Ray movies and TV series discs and 98% of them are good. With the help of this excellent forum I was able to solve an issue I had with a newly released Blu Ray 4K UltraHD disc that wouldn't burn. I have had sporadic issues with burning Blu Ray (it's m...

Re: Makemkv on Win XP
The latest version of Makemkv will not work on Win XP. At least for me. On startup I get an error message stating " The Makemkv conrol console had an error" I went back to version 1.15 whick does work. And really why would it?? Why would any developer want to make their app compatible for...

Re: Dumping suggestions
Hi, I recently started building my UHD collection, mostly old movies. I got Buffalo BRXL-PUS6U3B as there is a success with this driver . Able go to 1.03 version of BU40N firmware. Now of my collection 12 movies I expected to decrypt at least one movie. All of them failed with "volume key unkn...

Re: Transformers Rise of the Beasts Error
Hello, I seem to get a failure trying to rip Transformers. Updated to the latest MKV version but no luck. Attached the log file. Thanks in advance! MakeMKV v1.17.7 win(x64-release) started Using LibreDrive mode (v01.0 id=1C080B0C438F) Using direct disc access mode Loaded content hash table, will ve...

Re: When does Makemkv support the drive Pioneer BDR-S13EBK
Return your drive and get one that is currently UHD compatible. I've had it too long for that - about 4 months. But what interests me more. Does the sound work on all devices? I tried to play a film (Bakaroo Banzai), which I had copied as a test, on my TV via a NAS. The picture was played back, but...

Re: ASUS SBW-06D2X-U
I'll add my drive information asking for help, too. This is a LG type drive. I assume it is a slim type. Try to flash it to BU40N. Hi. newbie here. I think I have the same drive as this person, although reading the flashing guide, (https://forum.makemkv.com/forum/viewtopic.php?f=16&t=19634), it...

Re: When does Makemkv support the drive Pioneer BDR-S13EBK
Then I hope that there will soon be a firmware that supports my drive. After using the free key, I was able to save a Bluray film as a backup, but it couldn't save a UHD film. So unfortunately Makemkv is only worth half as much to me. Because backing up my UHD films was the reason why I bought this...

No, been there, tried that. Plus many other things.drknight71 wrote: ↑Fri Sep 20, 2024 10:22 pmHi,
Sorry to ask again but was just wondering considering the firmware is encrypted is it possible to edit the binary of an older firmware and change the version info on it to fool the updater that its a newer firmware?
Thanks
