Re: ASUS SBW-06D5H-U
I followed the steps and used version 1.17.7 as mentioned. I flashed the drive with the following command: ./bin/amd64/makemkvcon f -d /dev/sr0 rawflash -i /tmp/BU40N_1.03MK.bin Adn after unplugging and plugging it in again it still says it uses A102 DRV:0,0,999,0,"BD-RE ASUS SBW-06D5H-U A102 ...

Re: Verbatim 43888 and 43889
Yes, that could be the case that the BP55EB40 is older. I know the place that has them in stock is not a computer place, they sell a lot of other things so the small amount of electronics they have they keep for a long time. If it only has that older mini USB3 connector I guess the Verbatim is a be...

Re: ASUS SBW-06D5H-U

I found a similar post about this but it is 2 years old and maybe things have changed since then. Here's a picture of the drive in MakeMKV Thanks for anyone helping me! You cannot attac...

Re: Se7en can not decrypt
Unable to decrypt Se7en attached AACS dump errr..... I tried to attach the dump it says board quota has been reached for 138kb file Please don't create these types of posts. You should always email the dump file to svq@makemkv.com so a key can be generated and added to MakeMKV's internal hashed key...

Re: Public KeyDB Disc Submissions
Yes, it is common that there are many different pressings that have different discID and a different 4 characters at the end of the dump file. I suppose since they hash/checksum differently, the KeyDB needs submissions of each so that it can be kept up to date with all the various pressings? Yes, c...

Re: Verbatim 43888 and 43889
That is not bad, then the hardware is recent. They probably had a lot of Pioneer drives for the Verbatim drive and that was the right call, seems like these BluRay capable drives are selling like crazy now even though production is no more, or at least on hiatus. There are plenty of Verbatim drives...

Re: Verbatim 43888 and 43889
Aha. Any guess to how old a Verbatim 43888 with a UD04 drive would be at least to contain that drive. When did they start switching over to LG drives. I will assume the only way to get one is if someone is selling a drive second hand (used) one. If I remember there was or is someone on the forums t...

Re: LG Original Firmware Flashers (to return to original firmware)
Yes thanks. I meant back to original NS55, which the drive label states it is  . There's a LG universal flashing tool which recognize the right model or firmware by itself. Would this tool know what is the truly original if the drive was crossflashed. No, it would go by what the firmware i...

Re: Zombieland UHD
Hi, Thanks for the reply. The file name is MKB21_v70_Zombieland_0C05.tgz but with 35.653kb in size. So it should be possible, I think? In that linked thread, someone emailed the tgz dump back in 2022, so if the key is still unknown 4 years later, then I'd say the 0C05 variant is another one that ca...
