Re: SDFtool Flasher

I am trying to update my WH16NS60 with the SDFTool V1.3.4 on a Windows 10 laptop. My problem is that although the computer sees the drive the software tool in the drive dropdown remains empty. Total rookie, using a windows laptop is new to me. Any ideas? thanks Bill DePalma Make sure MakeMKV is ins...

Re: Zombieland 4K UHD AACS 2.1

I'm just going to keep exchanging it with Amazon until I get one that hasn't been sitting on a shelf for years.... Even my brand new player has trouble with it.... I think you actually do want one that has been sitting on a shelf for years as the initial release is the one that works. I bought mine...

Re: BH16NS55 Status: Possible, not yet enabled

Re: BH16NS55 Status: Possible, not yet enabled

As long as I know, the Libredrive Information should look like this in order to downgrade my drive and rip 4k UHD blurays mania-done-6351573bdbd7a5f519faa1047fbe654f.jpg However, as you can see mine doesn't show all the information but only "Status: Possible, not yet enabled/Drive platform: MT...

Firmware 1.02-mk seems to work without any issues.
Yes, that's why 1.02-MK is the recommended firmware. Thanks for the update.

Re: UHD with LG BP50NB40

Looks to be good to go, as is. IMO Try a UHD disc, & don't worry about changing things unless you encounter a specific issue. No, BP50NB40 firmware cannot read UHD discs at all. Also, your drive has 2014 year firmware. You say manufactured in 2015 but is it after October 2015?? I'm afraid this ...

Re: Brand new Asus BW-16D1HT won't open

I just got an ASUS BW-16D1HT. I connected it to my laptop using a SATA to USB adapter I also just got. When I plug it in Windows 10 sees it as a drive and the blue light on the front flashes. When I press but open button on the front it buzzes for a very short time and the blue light flashes faster...

Re: SDFtool Flasher

Hello, I am new user of SDF tool. I had succeed to flash my SATA BD drive LG BH16NS55 with ASUS flasher. I tried to flash my USB drive BP60NB10 with it, but it failed. Re: Is my WH16NS60 just plain junk?

They are clean as a whistle, not a spec of anything anywhere, brand new out of the case. There is literally nothing to clean. One disc, maybe. But 7 discs in a row having issues? I can't imaging its the discs with that kind of failure rate. Most UHD's have an invisible to the naked eye film on them...

Re: Top Gun: Maverick

Top Gun ended up ripping fine, despite the messages. Though afterwords I did upgrade to the 1.03MK firmware, didn't help. But now I"ve got the same type of crap on a new 4k disc. and considering the number of discs throwing errors like this, I can only assume I've got a crappy drive, which is ...
