Re: volume key unknown w/ flashed? WH16NS40, what am I doing wrong?
Hi, Bought a WH16NS40 with nextstar DX enclosure. Flashed using everything you need firmware pack to 1.02 using SDF Flasher version 1.3.6 Now able to read UHD when previously wasn't to show disc name in the windows explorer. Re: SDFtool Flasher
MODEL: BH16NS40 SVC CODE: NS50 ROM VER: 1.04 Manufactured: June 2019 See attached photos. I've spent a few hours reading the information here, but I'm hung up on "WH16" vs. "BH16", unsure if any of the firmware packs have what I need. I'd really appreciate guidance. I've already...

Re: LG Slim Portable UHD BP60NB10
The only thing I found concerning my drive is: BP60NB10 on any Firmware directly to > BP60NB10 1.02MK I have firmware 1.02 currently. Does this just change it to 1.02MK and it becomes enabled to rip the UHD discs? The link above to download says it's Hybrid_Firmware_for_BP50NB40_to_BP60NB10. Not wi...

Re: SDFtool Flasher
Hi There, I'm having issues with the SDFtool Flasher. There's an error that pops up when I click start. https://i.ibb.co/fVNyTfBP/Screenshot-2025-03-28-000356.png Is it because my hardware's firmware isn't the same as the one on the pack? how can I fix this? I appreciate your help :) Ensure MakeMKV...

Re: LibreDrive Possible, not yet enabled
I recently bought a verbatim 43888, specifically because I read everywhere that it didn't need to be flashed and worked out of the box on UHD dics. However, it seems that mine does not. Under the heading "LibreDrive Information", it states "Possible, not yet enabled". I was succ...

Re: Unable to Decrypt AACS v82 Blu-ray Disc
Hi everyone, I’m trying to decrypt a Blu-ray disc using MakeMKV, but I keep getting the error: “This disc uses a newer version of AACS protection” followed by: “The volume key is unknown for this disc – video can’t be decrypted.” Here's what I've tried so far without success: Downloaded the latest ...

Re: Ultimate UHD Drives Flashing Guide Updated 2025
Hi everybody, I am new to this board and primarily interested in converting my blurays and 4K discs into 3D with Owl3D. For ripping my 4K´s to harddisk I bought a Verbatim 43888 on Amazon Germany, but it does not seem to be able to work with makemkv or anydvd. Makemkv shows "HL-DT-ST" (Hi...

But i decide to do a quick video test and on both different laptops i was not able to play any 4K or Blurray discs. I attached th...

Re: Top GUn Maverick
Hi there: I got the Top Gun Maverick 4k and I'm having trouble ripping it using MakeMKV. I get to the same place each time and it fails. Admittedly I haven't bought many newer discs lately, but I just tried Skyfall and the Martian and they are fine. I'm curious if it's the disc or other people have...
