Re: NEW Single Drive Flasher - available worldwide!!

I've just purchased a flasher and the activation was successful. Thank you for this !

To clarify, this should work with any flashable MT1959 drive, yes ? Including a BU50N ?

Yes, as long as the drive meets the usual criteria:

Manufactured from 2016+
uses the MT1959 drive platform
Has a ...

Perhaps, the Admins removed it. There were far too many attachments cluttering up the forum and making it almost unusable.

a feature request for the flash tool

kept having 0xff056103 and only finding I didn't try to eject that disc.
I know this is dumb, but prompting an eject before flashing would be very helpful.

This is specified in the Requirements & Usage sections of the first post where you download the tool.

No idea what SDF stands for. Google (AI) tells me it's Secure Drive Firmware LOL. (Kinda doubt that.)
I always assumed it just meant Supported Drive Firmware, just like HK seems to refer to Hashed Keys. I could be wrong though.
Realy, who cares? It is not relevant for anything.

Re: Latest firmware version

Good morning,

I would like to buy a used Pioneer BDR-XS07B-UHD drive.
But I would like to know before I buy it, what is the latest firmware version that supports flashing so that I could rip DVD, normal bluray and UHD bluray?

Thank you very much

The XS07B is not a UHD drive. If it has ...

Yes and 1.00 is even better.
Marty?
Bought your 1.03 version a while ago when I was using mainly Windows 11. Now I am using Ubuntu as main, any need to switch to 1.00 for by BU40N slim?
Thank you in advance.

Re: Ultimate UHD Drives Flashing Guide Updated 2026

You might have been lucky and got an older one, before they changed something in the enclosure that stops flashing and libredrive from working.

I ordered it last week, it arrived today. I bought this one because someone on reddit mentioned it'd worked for them. It worked for me too. Don't ...

Hello,

I emailed MKB20_v61_Valerian_And_The_City_of_a_Thousand_Planets_3F2B.tgz. I updated KEYDB.cfg right before attempting the copy.

You do know that MakeMKV's hashed keys database and the KeyDB are two separate things, right?

You email the dump to svq@makemkv.com so a key can be added to ...
