Re: Proper flashing procedure for Buffalo BRXL-PUS6U3B
Hello, thanks for the info on this drive. I was able to pick one up and have successfully flashed it to 1.03 with the firmware in the all you need firmware pack. I wasn't able to find the 1.00 firmware in the "all you need" pack does anyone have the link for that? I did find "DE_LG B...

Re: SDFtools
I must be doing something wrong. I wanted a dump of FW on a LG drive and could not figure out how to get it. I tried SDFtool Flasher (v1.36 and v1.35) and get a cannot flash error while doing a READ. It says I cannot flash the drive due to a MT1959 error. But when i use sdftool_flasher.zip and a RE...

Re: SDFtool Flasher
I just downloaded the flasher and have a question about redirecting where it looks for make mkv. Currently on my pc I've stopped downloading things into my C drive unless it's absolutely necessary so when I finished installing the SDF tool flasher it tells me to install Make MKV. Is there any way t...

Re: Kingsman1 (French version) - disc not readable by Asus 16D1HT
I bought a 2nd hand UHD of Kingsman1 (French version) and thought to test the disk by ripping with MakeMKV. I havbe a flashed Asus 16D1HT, which is able to recognise 2 other French UHD disks (Bumblebee and Detective Pikachu). The disc seems to be fine when playing it through my standalone 4K player...

Re: Which blu-ray drive to buy?
Drives for sale, Flashing Services, where to buy... Since you're in the UK, Asmcom would be your 'local' seller: https://forum.makemkv.com/forum/viewtopic.php?f=20&t=19387 They'll sell you a drive that's properly flashed and tested to work with MakeMKV. I'll have to Google for more UK sellers, ...

Re: Ultimate UHD Drives Flashing Guide Updated 2025
The recommended firmware for your drive is WH16NS60 1.02-MK. Just the flash it and you are all good. Thank you! All worked well! I have the same Drive and LibreDrive information and want to be able to rip 4K / UHD disks. Is it as simple as: 1. Open SDFtool Flasher (v1.3.6) 2. Check "MT1959 Pla...

Re: Is there a reason some 4Ks don't load menus on VLC?
I don't know where the issue lies. I use makemkv latest version (1.18.2) and VLC x64 latest version (3.0.20 Vetinari). Makemkv integration is checked for VLC. I have the latest Java with the old versions JRE 8 and JavaSE 12. The issue is menus do not play for 4K UHDs. They work in some 4K discs and...
