Anyone that wants to build the GUI and include dark mode could as the GUI is open source: viewtopic.php?f=1&t=29126&p=130924
I believe it's not quite as simple as making it follow a theme though, there's work involved =)

Re: just lost entire tv/movie library, questions..
Honestly it is hard to understand a power outage taking out all your data. Likely you could do some sort of recovery on the disks themselves to get most of that back.

Re: LibreDrive for Pioneer drives
If a pioneer XD08 (should be UHD compatible) comes with firmware 1.00 is there a reason or a risk in upgrading firmware. Would anything speed up or make it more reliable? Any risks in future if firmware updates would ever lock out features?

Re: Ultimate UHD Drives Flashing Guide Updated 2022
I just saw this one (BDR-XD08UMB-S) on the pioneer site, and it supports UHD, would it be libredrive compatible to rip UHD with makemkv? Also, is it still safe to update firmware on drives like this? Will there be MK firmwares like there were for other drives in the past?

Re: Suggestion: Save decoding info for complex multiplex discs
For my specific use case these are DVD series and its like one or 2 disks out of what feels like hundreds so I don't think it's authored differently, just has some hard to read/scratched/old disc etc spots. I had at least one disc where playing with the read speed resolved it, but others didn't. Hon...

Re: Suggestion: Save decoding info for complex multiplex discs
good point, for what it's worth, my slower reads didn't fix the disc in question today which indeed wasn't listing the proper titles. Slower reads did solve a previous disc that was showing the correct titles, but had a read error during ripping.

Re: Suggestion: Save decoding info for complex multiplex discs
I second this request, but since there haven't been any replies in over a year not sure how many encounter it. My personal use case currently is a DVD that didn't rip correctly I'm updating the speed settings to try and rip it at a slower speed and each iteration of speed changes requires it to redo...

In preferences, Protection tab there is a Custom Java executable location path you can edit. Make sure that's pointing to the right place.

Re: Asus BW-16D1HT Firmware crashes? Faulty drive?
Are you able to put the drive in a different machine to help determine if it's the drive or something else on the server? Could be something getting warm and flaking out, cpu, memory, motherboard components, or drive.

This link shows the details on how to send in the relevant info from a debug log and it's setup it is a txt file and will definitely include more detail than the 2 lines you were able to show so far to include makemkv version drive info etc.

Re: My poor ancient HD-DVD/BD Combo!
I have a laptop with an RS1013 drive, it doesn't say it is hddvd, but would it still be helpful at all to send in the firmware? Drive Information OS device name: E: Manufacturer: HL-DT-ST Product: BDDVDRW CT10L Revision: YC07 Firmware date: 2008-09-12 12:34:56 Highest AACS version: 65 LibreDrive Inf...

Re: BD Drive won't rip DVD or Blu-rays all of a sudden
Just so I know where to start from, in Mike's post, are you able to get your drive's unique ID? I'm guessing if you are having issues with those instructions you are using Windows. makemkvcon didn't seem to like those parameters, so here's an option you can try: Navigate to View -> Preferences -> C...

Re: Libredrive version v6
Is there any chance that we could have a configurable libredrive option with the "sleep bug" and "unrestricted read speed" maybe in advanced options? I'd be willing to move fast enough to avoid sleep bug for the benefit of faster UHD read.

Re: Libredrive version v6
Cool, my other software comment was intended as a joke, as I know they exist, but for me I haven't needed anything aside from MakeMKV. However, I don't have any UHD disks right now or a 4k display so I'll probably hold off on cross flashing at least until I'd have a reason or ability to test. That i...
