Alex was great!
Ordered from Alex but I wanted a Vantec case but the supply of these is sparse but he went the extra mile and managed to find me one!
Received my drive in just over a week even with finding the case.
Highly recommend his service.

Re: Midway 2019 4K (new BD-J protection?)
Thanks for your patience and time to explain what I am seeing on this disk backup. You are right I did not fully understand the true issue with this disc. Is there a good way to fix this type protection or are we stuck with this issue for now? Using bdmv works pretty good up to now for me preserving...

Re: Midway 2019 4K (new BD-J protection?)
Hi SamuriHL,
Yes, I know this but isn't decryption part makemkv?
I did notice that I had to use anydvd to get the right playlist when doing the bluray mkv of this disc.
So is there anyway to fix this on the uhd disc backup function of makemkv or do I have to wait for the next release?
Thanks

Re: Midway 2019 4K (new BD-J protection?)
Actually I am seeing an issue with this UHD disc backup using Makemkv as well. I have a modified Oppo UDP-203 which can play all my UHD disc backups from my NAS without any problems until this one. It won't even play using PowerDVD 19. All of my 90+ backups play just fine except, just no hdr since m...

Working on Kypton TV Series -Need some help
Hi All I have been converting Season 1 & 2 of Kypton to mkv and am having a problem determining which file is which episode. For example there are 5 episodes on a disc but there are 10 individual mkv files, it almost looks like there are 2 copies of each episode; file sizes are similar so no cle...

Re: NEW OPTION: 'UHD Friendly' Firmware Downgrade / Cross-Flash Using Official (Modified) ASUS Flasher for ASUS & LG Dri
OK, I've used both programs over the years but have favored makemkv to make my mkv's and use Backup to make decrypted backups. But recently wanted to make uhd iso of a disc. This is why I went to use anydvd which didn't work, saying it needs to be a Uhd Friendly Drive. That is how I got here asking ...

Re: NEW OPTION: 'UHD Friendly' Firmware Downgrade / Cross-Flash Using Official (Modified) ASUS Flasher for ASUS & LG Dri
Hi I have a BH16NS60 which I flashed to Revision: 1.00 back i n Feb., so now makemkv has the LibreDrive enabled which work very well but recently discovered Anydvd can't use the drive since it's not UHD Friendly. So now if I flash using this flasher and using the 1.01 in the MK directory for this dr...

Re: Firmware downgrade using official (patched) flasher, the "Ultra hax0r guide"

But before let me thank billycar11, mike and all that have contributed to this update! 1. With the Super great info from Mike about the byte change do we need to use DOSf...

Re: Heads up - Support for LG UHD drives
Hi All I need a little help in understanding this thread. After reading this and other threads I have ordered a LG WH14NS40 originally and after reading more I see a lot about this drive an LG WH16NS60 as being UHD capable and either is or will be supported. OK, I realize the first drive need a firm...
