Just a note here. Whatever the problem is with having to restart MakeMKV because of the ghosted icon (which thinks it's a data disc) to get it to work for another disc again, it's only with the Memorex drive. My newer Asus 4K friendly drive does not have that issue on the same computer.

I tried two different drives and it would exit with the same error, but when I tried using "backup disc" instead it dumped just fine (from there I could dump a MKV file from the backup folder). It was pretty strange.

The other is that MakeMKV is somehow altering the PCM when it extracts it into a MKV file. It wouldn't take much. I believe the encoding is stored in the least significant bit of the 24-bit PCM file.
