Hello! Trying to archive "fresh off the boat" season two. These DVD disks appear to be recordable media and all three disks show similar symptoms:

Several interesting solutions if you are on WINDOWS, but for us Linux or MacOS users, this is sort of a pain?

I can run "makemkvcon --robot info file:$FILES >$OUTFILE, which lists all the crazy mish mash of segement ...

Thanks for the response - it turns out that the disk was "imperceptibly" dirty, AND that goofed up something - the OS, the driver - who knows..

The train of events was, "Hey, that's a weird DEBUG code I've never encountered before!", clean, try again, fail, TRY ANOTHER DISK, it fails too! Okay, I ...
