thank you very much woodstock - handbrake worked even in mkv container - all i had to do was select the playstation1080p surround preset from the tree - it tedious tho - on paper both encodes look the same but something just doesnt fit with sony codecs.

I am a bit confused. Maybe someone here can help me out. :roll:

Could someone explain to me why 1 or more mkv files work for my sony tv and why some don't ?
