Re: What is the correct play list [insert title here]?
Because it requires a human to read the picture of some text that's on the screen and select the right option. Roll on AI .. I restate a commonly repeated point - a disk database with a list of the tracks to rip would be nice .. https://thediscdb.com/movies That site is better than nothing. I recen...

Re: Conan The Barbarian 4K
Do you remember which title you chose for each disc? For Disc 1 of Conan the Barbarian , there were 3 titles around 80 GB in size. I chose the largest one which was 84 GB, and I''ll know in an hour or so if I chose correctly. I actually ripped them all (I'm a digital hoarder). Can't remember the di...

Re: Conan The Barbarian 4K
Yeah I can confirm that everything ripped just fine (Arrow Video's The Conan Chronicles: Conan the Barbarian & Conan the Destroyer 4K Ultra HD set). Man, that additional content is hit or miss though quality-wise. A lot of blurred out watermarks that Arrow Video included, and many go right acro...

Re: Change default output folder
What does you're path look like?
I selected
/home/username/movies
And then
"Semi-auto"
It saved the movie to /home/username/movies/title.mkv
But I wanted
/home/username/movies/title/title.mkv.
Is there way to do that?

Re: OS error - (ipc/send) invalid destination port
It turned out to be a loose USB cable on my external dvd drive. As a result it didn’t have enough power.

Re: "automatic sdf downloading is disabled or failed" while decrypting
What is the web server hostname? I have pi-hole and pfBlockerNG running to filter DNS requests. Is there any way to white-list entire MakeMKV? I short, it can use any DNS address and it can change at any time. Is it a serious problem that I should look at fixing? I don't know what SDF is so some co...

https://www.makemkv.com/forum/viewtopic.php?f=8&t=3876&hilit=Source+code&start=30#p15247 10 minutes of using SEARCH uncovered both this one and WONDER  I don't see an answer in the thread your linked, but there is some good advice. What I did was put the blu-ray in my Xbox One and...

"automatic sdf downloading is disabled or failed" while decrypting
After I inserted the John Wick (2014) blu-ray and click on the disk icon to decrypt it, so saw this error in the output / log section - "automatic sdf downloading is disabled or failed" However , makemkv continued to process the disc, listed the titles, and even highlighted the probably ma...

Re: What is the correct play list [insert title here]?
If MakeMKV can sniff out the main feature, it will move its play list to the top, with a comment of "(FPL_MainFeature) next to it in the selection window (left part of screen). This wasn't the case for me for the title "Valerian". It ( MakeMkv 1.12.3 for Mac ) put the FPL_MainFeature...

Previous disc contents displayed after new disk inserted
I have a USB Blu-ray drive , when I insert a disk an start MakeMkv, it reads the disc and displays the contents. However , if I press the eject button on the disc drive and insert a new disc, MakeMkv appears to scan it but keeps the previous disc's information on the screen. A work around is to clos...

What exactly is "Metadata Language" ?
I cannot find any documentation on it in MKV help or anywhere else. Can someone through me a bone as to what it is and what I can do with it?
