I resolved this issue -
Looks like somehow the latest Windows 10 update(s) re-enabled the PC firewall and it was specifically blocking the makemkv executable.
Additionally, I noticed that various options in MakeMKV's preferences (e.g. custom Java path, default export path, etc.) were populated ...

I have the same issue all of a sudden after upgrading to 1.10.4 on Win10.
Reinstalled 1.10.3 and same issue. No prior issues with the application countless times.
Its not the content as I am able to use HandBrake successfully. I also tried a disk previously used with MakeMKV.
