Ripping a blu ray audio
I purchased a blu ray audio and I'll get it in a couple of weeks.
Can I use my MKV software to rip it?
If yes, does it rip like a regular blu ray disk?
Thank you

Re: DTS MA shows up as DTS
Hi Carl, Apologies for the late reply. How can I check the MediaInfo? Would you please help me with it? I've no idea where to look for those info. I confirmed using the "info" button on my processor that the signal going from Oppo to my audio processor is DTS MA, but I just cannot figure o...

Re: DTS MA shows up as DTS
Hi Carl,
I play using a USB Hard Drive, I do not use network.
It is a little odd since some show up as DTS MA and some don't.

Re: DTS MA shows up as DTS
Hi Carl, Oppo is connected directly to TV with HDMI 1 and HDMI 2 (Audio) connected to Emotiva XMC-1. No issues with passing the DTS MA from Oppo to the XMC-1 using Blu ray disc. Since I've no issues playing discs and getting DTS MA, I think my connections and cables are OK. It is with MKV files that...

DTS MA shows up as DTS
When I rip my Bluray movies, I choose both DTS MA and DTS audio formats. While playing back the movie, the primary audio is DTS MA, but when I check the "Audio" display on my Oppo player / TV, it shows "DTS 5.1" and DTS (on the list of available audio formats). Why doesn't it say...

Dolby true HD (MLP) audio format stutters
The audio on many of my ripped movies stutters and it happens only with Dolby true hd (MLP) audio.
Does anybody else have this problem?
My hard drive is connected to an Oppo 103. Video to Tv and audio (hdmi 2) to an XMC-1 processor.
Thanks

Question about Ripping a DVD Audio
I have a DVD Audio with MLP (Meridian Lossless Packing) audio format.
When I try to rip it to my hard drive, I just get the Dolby Digital not the 24bit/96Khz (MLP).
Is there any way to rip the DVD with MLP audio format?
Thanks.

Re: How to rip 3D movies in my HDD to use with Oppo-103
Thanks for the directions.
It seems to be easier to just play the 3D disk than ripping it to HDD.

How to rip 3D movies in my HDD to use with Oppo-103
Would you please instruct me on how to rip 3D movies to my hard drive so I can watch them using Oppo-103? The Oppo tech support told me about side by side and top to bottom, but I do not know how to setup makemkv to do that. I'm totally clueless and I need your instructions on how to do that. Thank ...

Re: Is there an easy way to change the icon of a ripped BD /
What windows version are you using? I have Windows 10 with the *cough* Advance Codec Pack installed. Windows 10 does come with a built in MKV demuxer but I don't know if that's enough. If you can't get setting cover.jpg to work, unless you can find a program to edit the thumbs.db files, there's not...

Re: Is there an easy way to change the icon of a ripped BD /
*sigh* Download MKVToolNix if you haven't already, doubleclick the MKVToolNix GUI icon on your desktop, press the Header Editor tab on the side, drag and drop your mkv file onto the window, press the "Attachments" entry, press "Add Attachment," select your image file, click its ...

Re: Is there an easy way to change the icon of a ripped BD /
https://www.matroska.org/technical/cover_art/index.html MKVToolNix GUI or MKVPropEdit would be helpful. Many thanks for the directions. I clicked on the suggested link and downloaded the "sample file" but when I played the file it was just a trailer of one of the "Dexter" season...

Is there an easy way to change the icon of a ripped BD / DVD
Is there an easy way to change the icon of my BD / DVD ripped .mkv files?
I'd like to change those file icons to the cover art for each movie file but I don't know how to.
Thanks
