Not sure why my post disappeared. I had the same issue.
Under "news and announcements" the post titled "MakeMKV is free while in beta" has the key good thru jan 2017

Same for me. Just downloaded today (windows version). Ran it once. Closed it. Reopened later and get this message: "This application version is too old. Please download the latest version at / or enter a registration key to continue using the current version." PS in the main window when I ...
