If there is, it's not documented and I haven't stumbled across it. Audio, and especially subtitle tracks are so relatively small, I can't imagine it's worth the post processing time to remove them.

It simply means that the disk has been dropped on it's edge. I've actually done it myself (by mistake).

I've had this problem with The Devil's Rejects from Netflix. Five (count 'em 5) disks all failed. Netflix credited my account for 1 month free and I used the money to pick up a retail copy from Amazon which worked fine... and I had some cash left over

The java option on MakeMKV doesn't work with all disks. I just ran into this with "War on Everything".

Also I've had major issues trying to rip the covenant on blu ray. I've tried two different copies so far. If that's "The Covenant" from 2006, I just added it to Netflix to see how my drives deal with it. I'll let you know what happens. I have a ripping batch file that opens the drive door...

I don't know if I'm breaking any rules or it's just bad karma, but I'd take a look at DVDFAB. It's a duplicator that removes protection.

It does indeed include the unrated as is mentioned on the actual disk, but not anywhere else such as the sleeve. Should I assume the longer version is the unrated version? Seems likely...
