Just as a heads up, after the one time the Sandboxie trick worked, it didn't work anymore. So, I cleaned discs and tried several times, to no avail. What ended up solving the issue was to install AnyDVD to remove the decryption, and MakeMKV worked without issue. I am not sure what either program doe...

But for now, somehow, installing and running MakeMKV in Sandboxie has fixed the issue... at least temporarily.
