What ended up solving the issue was to install AnyDVD to remove the decryption, and MakeMKV worked without issue. I am not sure what either program doe...

But for now, somehow, installing and running MakeMKV in Sandboxie has fixed the issue... at least temporarily.

I am trying to digitalize some of the BluRay discs included in the 50th Anniversary box.
