Re: Mkv to Mkv and forced pgs subtitle
And also, this feature already exist : bluray iso to mkv ISO processing is the same as reading a DVD or Blu-ray. The structures and files are copied 1:1 (decrypted) from DVD or Blu-ray to the ISO file which is only another container like ZIP. So the later processing of the ISO data to create a MKV ...

Re: Mkv to Mkv and forced pgs subtitle
Yeah, every new feature is nice, but please remember, MakeMKV is tool to create one or more MKV files from DVD or Blu-ray structures. So this it is a nice to have feature to do the same thing with native MKV files. If you want to extract "Forced flagged" VOB or PGS subtitles, this can be d...

Re: fake playlists - Three Musketeers (2011 - US Retail Amazon) - Java installed
Java is only excecuted if needed, means the Blu-ray contains the relevant Java code for execution. MakeMKV shows the Java execution (with filename from where) or failure only in the Debug log and not in the MakeMKV info area. Specification of Java in the preferences is only needed for special Java i...

Re: Thor 3 & Others - Skipping and Video Problems
Is a USB 2.0 fast enough to read those large 35GB MKV video files? ... Or would I need to use a device that expands the USB 3.0 inputs? USB 2 supports up to 480Mbit/s, an Blu-ray stream (Video and Audio to together) has a maximum of 50MBit/s. I actually use two 8TB external hard drives, so that is ...

Re: The Rocky Horror Picture Show - countless of entries
is it possible that these playlists are identical? If you click on the title, you see in the right windows of MakeMKV the Playlist number and the Segment map, f.e: Source file name: 00800.mpls Duration: 3:16:37 Chapters count: 16 Size: 43.5 GB Segment count: 3 Segment map: 10,12,15 In this case the...

Re: DTS MA shows up as DTS
The DTS-Master Stream includes both, the DTS-Master and DTS 5-1 which is the DTS Core. If a Player or Software does not support DTS-Master it sees only the DTS 5.1 Core part.

Re: Splitting long MKV into chapters using MKVToolsNix
This works, enter the chapters without space, f.e 5,9,14,22
The first split file contains chapter 1,2,3,4 the second split file chapter 5,6,7,8 and so on

Re: Question on DVD obfuscation
There is no DVD obfuscation!! Why are you working with VTS (Title metadata) and VOB (Video Object files)? Per definition one single VOB file is 1GB and it is part of the complete movie. If the movie is 6,5GB, you have 6 1GB VOBs and one with 0,5GB. The VOBs (one set) are numberd (0-9) and all togeth...

Re: CANNOT FIND FILES OR FOLDER! NEED HELP ASAP!
As far as I untderstand the "Auto" option, it selectes the drive with the most available space. So it's better to specify a fixed output destination and/or use the "Semi-Auto" option to specify the drive and root folder and MakeMKV stores the files in an disc specific named sub f...

Re: Issue with two drives
What did you see if you navigate to "File->Open disc". Are both drives in the list or only one of them? The single drive mode works only if two or more drives are detected.

Re: MKV NOT Initiallizing
There is no needed to specify a standard Java installation in MakeMKV. It is automaticaly deteced if needed, tested and verified. You can see it in the debug log if Java is executed.
