Re: Superman 2 3 Dumps
Much appreciated! Ripped at 89.5X from the backup file and took less than 2.5 minutes to complete. Many thanks!

Re: Superman 2 3 Dumps
I also submitted aacs dump (.tgz) this past Sunday 14 May 2023 for Superman II The Richard Donner Cut 4K UHD US Retail box collection version. I made a backup of the disc while waiting. I just tried to decrypt again, and still no luck. I know it's posted elsewhere that it can take several days after...

Re: Chaos Walking
I've found that "FPL_MainFeature" is not always correct, which is confusing because I thought that it came from the disc's internal JavaScript. Your 535 seems to match what others have posted. You could do a disc backup (with the decrypt video box checked) and then watch the two m2ts segm...

Re: The Fifth Element UHD/4K
I see what has happening here. The stream starts off as 7.1THD for the Studiocanal ident but then switches to atmos for the film. Mediainfo is only picking up on the first part of the stream and correctly reporting the 7.1 discrete channels. If you use TSmuxer to chop out a minute sample from 5 min...

Re: The Fifth Element UHD/4K
Have you guys tried just playing the file or the disk and see if your AVRs detect the 7.1 THD track as Atmos? The blu-ray forums did mention that it is using the latest version of the Atmos encoder so maybe mediainfo is just not picking it up. Also of note is that according to the listing at: https...

Re: The Fifth Element UHD/4K
All, I'm not sure where to post this for The Fifth Element 4K UHD (StudioCanal UK) version, but I need to start somewhere. I purchased after reading reviews that showed it had Dolby Vision in addition to the HDR10 on the US Version. The audio track for ATMOS is supposed to be the exact same as the 2...
Glad it worked out, but the real credit should go to those who took the time to make the tools. Thank them. :)
@MartyMcNuts, et.al, I humbly and most sincerely thank you! I just played my first rip streaming from my HTPC in my office via PLEX to my HT setup in the main room over my ...

Re: UHD drives
Thank YOU, d00zah! RE: hashed keys...I told you I was confused! 1) I didn't expect a response that quick. 2) I didn't expect it to be THAT easy! I followed the link you gave, followed the instructions, downloaded the files, easily rolled back the FW on my WH16NS40 to v.1.02, then rolled back the FW ...

Re: UHD drives
All, Older and very confused as to what I need to do, so please be gentle. I have an LG16NS40 v1.03 and an LG16NS60 v1.01. Can anyone point me to a page with instructions on how to either 1) downgrade the FW for either player or 2) cross-flash either player so that one or both of these drives will r...

Re: How to rip for home theater experience
MakeMKV will process LPCM out "raw", although it can also be configured to convert it to AC3, I believe. "Believe", because I have not tested that; As I said earlier, I just rip the tracks as-is, to be dealt with later. Nozomi publishes a number of anime BD titles in 24-bit LPCM...

Re: How to rip for home theater experience
The biggest question is what Plex is doing. As you know, it will respond to the capabilities listed in the client software on each player, so if the player says "PCM" is its preferred format, that is what it will received, after translation by Plex. If it says "DTS", Plex will s...

New Version 1.10.2 Issues
Mike admin, Since updating to 1.10.2 this past weekend, I have ripped 3 Blu-Rays, all older discs: Harry Potter 1-3. All three discs playback as if framerate is not synching, just a slight stutter. Nothing else has changed on my PC system and rips prior to the update to 1.10.2 play back just fine vi...
