Re: Star Wars 4Ks
Do ANY of the lastest 4K releases have Dolby Vision? I think The Last Jedi does....but only if you buy is alone. The Skywalker Box set I thought would contain DV, but everything I read says on HDR. How can you know?

Re: Star Wars 4Ks
I've done back up's of all 11 films. So far, I've watched Episode I, II, III, IV, V and VI. Rogue One and Solo. I did have issues with Episode II, Rogue One, and IV. All of those cleared up when I made an MKV from the back up file. Now, that's my system. I have an LG drive here, and all of my viewin...

Re: Star Wars 4Ks
With the new version of Make MKV, I ripped a back up folder of the entire Bluray, the went back and made MKV's of the films. I was having trouble with Episode II, and IV, and Rogue One. Audio out of sync, some jumpy frames. So far, all of that has cleared up. So, the new update does work. Thanks so ...

Re: Star Wars 4Ks
I downloaded the new version of MKV this am. Then cleaned the disc with white vinegar and water. Ripped a back up of the full Rogue One 4K. I've had it playing for almost 25 minutes...doing stuff around the house. The audio is still off. About a second. This is using my Zappiti player. I also ripped...

Re: Star Wars 4Ks
I have ripped Rogue One to a BDMV Folder...the MKV version would loose sound and sync. Playing the BDMV folder with Zappiti is fine, but every 20 minutes or so , the sync goes out again. The words are not in sync...so I switch to another audio format, then back to Atmos..and it works again. I don't ...

BDMV Vs. MKV
Is there any quality lose ripping to MKV, instead of burning the disc to BDMV. I had to do this for the Skywalker Saga, one of the disc would only work correctly if I used a back up of the UHD. And I wondered if the quality was better than ripping to MKV. I also read you have to use the BDMV if you ...

Re: Star Wars 4Ks
And, what program would I use to make BDMV folder? I have several, MakeMKV, video Proc, but will they rip a 4K blu ray like MakeMKV does?

Re: Star Wars 4Ks
OTOH? Not sure what that means? I use Zappiti player for all my movies....and can rip the disc again. Just not sure what's the best way to do it to avoid that glitch. So far, it has not happened in any of the other files

Re: Star Wars 4Ks
Yes, this happens the minute the alien subtitles starts around 5:20 or so. It then will glitch until I stop it and start it, or jump to the next chapter..the rest of the film plays with no problem..including the other alien subtitles...only that scene. So I should rip the entire disc and no remove a...

Re: Star Wars 4Ks
I have the Skywalker set from BestBuy. I've ripped Attach of the Clones twice...and each rip has a 'glitch' at around 5:30 into the film. The scene in Palpatine's office. Dialogue is off, and jerky. So then I ripped one from online...the same thing, at the same time. Could this be an issue with the ...

Re: Daniel Craig Bond collection
it's only a few times a year I rip discs. Last one was Iron man a few months ago. so if it works..no problem. It's just getting it to work? I would love to fix the issue at home...but as others have said...a few people are having the same issue..so it's not just me.

Re: Daniel Craig Bond collection
Thanks for trying....I'm mac...and it comes up as some weird format!
So, I should try and get the DNS fixed.
What is crazy is that this just 'worked' a few months ago...nothing has changed.
So, I'll contact my router guys, see what they can do to help me out

Re: Daniel Craig Bond collection
I tried my mac notebook with a fresh install of MKV..same issue. So if it's the DNS, and I tried to fix that...and still nothing, then I"m doing something wrong. I can change the DNS on my mac...I used the 8.8.8.8....and the internet worked. I got rid of the previous numbers. But again, that ac...

Re: Daniel Craig Bond collection
I downloaded the SDF file. It was a .bin and a bin.cpgz file. I put both of them in the 'private_data' folder. Put the 4k disc in the drive...started up MKV..same issue. "automatic HD downloading is disabled or failed'. 'failed to open disc' Should I try a different mac? I have a macbook pro......
