Disable cells being removed (or: run DVD manual mode using makemkvcon)
I've got a disc that's removing some chapters I want from the end of a title. Is there any way I can just disable that behavior entirely from within makemkvcon? I'd love a command line flag, or a setting I can put in settings.conf. I've seen https://makemkv.com/manualdvd/, and would be happy with th...

Re: Question to all: MakeMKV without GUI, console only
Doing some necromancy here, but it's something I use a lot. I use makemkvcon exclusively. I use it on a headless linux server on my home network. I have custom software written around mapping disks to specific titles and, when necessary, chapters, and then extracting those titles and chapters, namin...

WH14NS40
I've got a WH14NS40 I've been using for a few years now, works mostly fine for DVDs and Blu-rays. UHD it sometimes works for, but I sometimes get read errors, and mounting disks using it has been hit or miss. I'm thinking flashing might make some of these things better/more reliable. Here's the outp...

Re: unhandled extension 3.5
I did notice that, but that forces the workflow to be either: 1. Create a decrypted disc backup with makemkv when ripping the disc 2. Decide which title is the correct one, and use makemkv to extract it as an mkv 3. Transcode it using HandBrake or 1. Select the title when decrypting and ripping the ...

unhandled extension 3.5
Has anyone successfully used HandBrake to encode a UHD rip? All my rips seem to succeed--the rip completes, no errors logged--but every time I try to encode with HandBrake--even something as simple as listing the titles--HandBrake chokes with "mpls_parse.c:983: _parse_mpls_extension(): unhandle...

Re: New beta key?
I'm having a problem, too, though I think it's because I use MakeMKV in headless mode (no GUI). I've got the new activation key saved in ~/.MakeMKV/settings.conf and ~/.MakeMKV/update.conf, but it still tells me I have an invalid key. Did the location to place the key in change? Can anyone on Linux ...
