The Dev really should have issued a fast update with a warning banner notifying the user of this problem. I suspect that this forum is going to get rather busy over the next few days.

It is going to be a bummer when Apple releases 15.4 into the wild and all MakeMKV users on modern Macs discover that the software is no longer usable. MakeMKV's Dev should at the least issue an update that has a pop up warning that the software will no longer work if the user upgrades to 10.4 or ide...

Sort of - but Apple usually (and perhaps unfairly) expects the developers to fix things Apple breaks. If MakeMKV's developers were official Apple developers they could request changes to the OSX code.

I have just encountered the same fatal error.

Just like nicholfd - MakeMKV experiences a fatal error after updating to the 1st beta version of 15.4.

All of my symptoms are exactly as the above posts.

Just wanted everyone to know that I am experiencing no problems with the latest version of MakeMKV and the release candidate version of Mac OS 14.0 (Sonoma)

On the MacOS it does not (or it does and I have somehow overlooked the checkbox to enable it) I agree a customized sound option is a great suggestion.

I have seen the request in the past, but I would like to bring it up again.

I would really like to have MakeMKV play a sound (optional of course) when it reaches the end of a rip.
